Gabriel is starting a master’s degree in Geography at Laval University, Quebec, in 2022, under the supervision of Danièle Bélanger. He is interested in Canada’s adoption of new decision support softwares (automation, triage, algorithmic learning, artificial intelligence) and their impact on administrative decision makers discretionary power well as on migration dynamics.
From 2010 to 2015, Gabriel Bergevin-Estable held various positions in the Montreal community related to IT and immigration, notably in the pilot project ‘Réseautage 2.0’ funded by the MICC (Défi Montréal). Since 2015, he has been working as a constituency assistant at the federal level, specializing in immigration files. He became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in 2021.
