Claudine Boucher

Claudine is a Master’s student in Geography at Laval University, Quebec. She is interested in Cultural and Feminist Geography. Her Master’s thesis with the Canada Research Chair in Global Migration Processes will explore the notion of discretionary power held by constituency office workers offering services to migrants. She will be attentive to the way power unfolds in a space that could be considered an entry point for migrants, since part of the decision-making regarding migrants’ statuses is made there.
